It’s nice to take some inspiration from Gourmet Pens, and do a wordless (mostly) post. I got some new cappuccino cups in the mail and how could I not take some photos? The cups are made by a New Zealand brand called Acme. They’re thick porcelain and retain heat nicely. Want to read more about coffee? Check out my new(ish) project –

It’s not my best pour, but the smaller 6.5oz capacity of these cups is definitely more of a challenge than a larger latte cup. My morning routine has been making coffee and breakfast, then journaling in my Hononichi Techo. acme-cups-lamy-2000-4The leather cover is from One Star Leather Goods, you can check out my review of this awesome piece here. My preferred ink as of lately has been the bright blue Kon Peki from Pilot’s Iroshizuku line. I’m enjoying the fact that I only have a few pens inked up right now, it makes me appreciate what’s in my collection. The Lamy 2000 continues to be my favorite pen, read an updated review here.acme-cups-lamy-2000-3
